Prestigious Honor for FDR Composer

Anthony Nemeth, eighth grade student at FDR Middle School has received a prestigious honor.  The saxophone player and composer from FDR Middle School has been recognized by NAfME (National Association for Music Education) All-Eastern Bi-Annual Conference.   Anthony submitted his piece, “Improvviso,” in January. The piece will be performed by Anthony and the FDR band at the Young Composers Concert in Pittsburgh. The concert is April 5th during the NAfME All-Eastern bi-annual conference. The performance will be at the David L. Lawrence convention center in Pittsburgh, PA during the Eastern Division Young Composers Concert.
