THE BRISTOL TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT HAS THE FOLLOWING OPENINGS:
Maintenance Supervisor: IndivIdual will be responsible for planning and supervising the daily maintenance services of the district, and oversee and inspect all work performed by outside contractors working within the school district. The District has 3 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 high school, and administrative/ transportation/operations building. Minimum qualifications:
*Must be a high school graduate or equivalent; post-secondary technical and/or business courses preferred.
*Must have 10 yrs. of diversified experience in building maintenance and.or construction, with a minimum of 5 yrs. in supervisory, management, or leadership position.
*Must possess general knowledge of building envelope systems.
*Must possess general knowledge of M.E.P. systems along w/fundamentals of B.A.S.
*Must be able to read blueprints, schematic drawings and specifications.
*Experience working with personal computers preferred
& Valid state driver's license must be maintained at all times.
Salary range: $ 75,000 - $90,000 annually.
General Maintenance Specialist - Electrical
Responsible for the repair, installation, upgrades and trouble shooting of all electrical, phone, security, fire alarm and motor control systems, and appliances in the school district. Also, performs basic preventative maintenance work throughout the district.
Minimum Qualifications:
1.High school diploma or equivalent with ability to read and write
directions.
2. Successful completion of formal electrical training/schooling or
apprenticeship with previous three (3) years, and/or three (3)
years of actively working as a licensed electrician during the past
five (5) years.
3. Experience working with computer, especially knowledge of
Windows based programs.
4. Must have and retain a valid driver's license at all times.
5. Must have a mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools.
6. satisfactory completion of any pre-employment testing
which may be given. A minimum passing score of 70% is
required.
General Maintenance Specialist - Plumbing
Able to install water supply lines, waste and drain lines (cast, copper and PVC). Able to repair and install plumbing fixtures and gas lines. Must be able to learn district heating system and obtain a master plumbing license.
Minimum Qualifications:
1.High school diploma or equivalent with ability to read and write
directions.
2. Successful completion of formal plumbing training/schooling or
apprenticeship with previous three (3) years, and/or three (3)
years of actively working as a licensed plumber during the past
five (5) years.
3. Experience working with computer, especially knowledge of
Windows based programs.
4. Must have and retain a valid driver's license at all times.
5. Must have a mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools.
6. satisfactory completion of any pre-employment testing
which may be given. A minimum passing score of 70% is
required.
PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT:
Part-time position available for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). The Physical Therapist would develop a plan of intervention for each student that involves the PTA assisting with selected interventions. PT and PTA identify the PTA's knowledge, skills, and valued-based behavior needed to carry out with selected interventions as described in the IEP/504 Service Agreement and the PT determines the type of supervision required for each student. Administers physical therapy interventions/services to students, working under direction of and as assistant to Physical Therapist. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. The PTA may need to relocate during the school day to another building within the school district.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or
technical school; or six month to one year related experience
and/or training.
PA license and certification for Indirect Supervision preferred or
willing to obtain certificate at own expense.
PA Physical Therapy Assistant License
PA professional liability insurance
Implements a self-directed plan for career development and
lifelong learning including, but not limited to:
completion of 30 hours fo continuing education requirements in
the biennial renewal period eff. 1/2011
At least 4 hours of continuing education for PTA's through Red
Cross and American Heart Assn. CPR certification as required by the Practice Act.
Schedule: Three (3) days per week.
Inclusion Specialist: Part-time paraprofessional, 4 hrs/day during the school year. Must have an associate degree or pass District Test. Starting salary: $ 15.90/hr.
School Bus Driver - No CDL required, free training. Starting salary is
