Mr. Pierce, anti-bullying specialist, and Mrs. Smith-Herman, Assistant Principal, have been working with the state and local police department for several months now. By involving state and local police, the school can foster a sense of community and partnership between law enforcement and students, promoting a positive and supportive school environment. In addition, students have learned about the importance of teamwork, fair play, respect, conflict-resolution, and good sportsmanship through these interactions.

Keystone Elementary School is grateful for the dedication and commitment of the Pennsylvania State Police and the Bristol Township Police Department to our school community. Their presence and involvement with our students promotes positive relationships between law enforcement and our young learners, while serving as positive role models for young people.

Last week, Bristol Township Officer Daulton Brady joined the students on the playground during recess and played a game of kickball. The students were thrilled to have the officers participating with them and they all had a great time competing and laughing together. It was a fun way for the officer to interact with the students in a positive and engaging way, building rapport and trust within the community.

We would also be remiss if we didn't mention State Trooper, Ryan Seiple. He has been coming to Keystone weekly to organize kickball and dodgeball games with our 5th grade students during their recess time. We appreciate the time that he takes to make positive connections with the students. His willingness to engage in activities that bring joy and unity is truly commendable.

Overall, the police officers and state troopers have been playing an important role in promoting a positive and inclusive environment for our learners at Keystone. They have been continuing to help students learn important life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, and conflict resolution.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with the State Police and the Bristol Township Police Department, and we are excited to see the positive impact they will continue to have on our school community. Many thanks to the Pennsylvania State Police and the Bristol Township Police Department for your ongoing support and commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our students.
